[news from the year 2007]

07 Nov 2007
A whole lot of projects got updated. Neko Type-R had several new features added based on user feedback (and some bugs fixed too while I was in there) while both Mine Swept and dead.licious received minor bug fixes. Oh, and the Work section was updated to include Mr. Do's Castle for mobile devices.

Anyone else not get a license file from me? I just realized last week that a couple people had donated for Symbolical last month and I neglected to send them a license file (a situation that I quickly rectified). In checking my records, I have a few other donations that were either anonymous (the Amazon Honor System donations usually falled under this category) or the donator failed to specify which project they were donating for and didn't respond to my follow-up e-mail. In one case, one kind soul purchased something for me from my Amazon Wish List. So if you're one of these generous souls that have sent me something for my programming trouble and didn't receive a license file in return, please contact me with the details of your donation (amount donated, date the donation was sent, etc.)

Wow. Was my last update really that long ago? Maybe I should update my dev-log with my whereabouts of the past couple months (hint: the day job got busy). Anyway, I've updated dead.licious to v1.4.

25 Jul 2007
New project added: Symbolical. It's been a while since I've put up another game and actually, this one has been in the making for a while. I finally got off my lazy bum and gave it a proper artistic finish. Well, as best an artistic finish that I could manage.

Hot Spot X got a mention in "Mac Fan", a magazine from Japan. For the Japanese reading-impaired (like myself), you can check out the Google Translation. They were also kind enough to send me a PDF of the print page.

28 May 2007
New project added: Jem, a GUI front-end for running the synergy client.

06 Apr 2007
Otis over at Simpy.com had some excellent suggestions and noticed a few bugs with dead.licious so it's now at v1.31. Enjoy!

30 Mar 2007
New project added: Today In Discordia, a Cocoa version of the old UNIX program ddate.

Man, I really need to stop working on dead.licious so much. Anyway, it's at v1.3 now and I've finally added the Keychain support.

Also, I've brought UPCToISBN out of my project graveyard since I've been using it recently to help catalog all my books.

Lastly, I had to take my cat into the vet recently due to some urinary tract issues he was having. Well, I don't have pet health insurance so the medical bills were rather high so if you haven't donated before (or even if you have!), now would be a great time to send some money my way so my little guy can get better.

24 Jan 2007
Updated the Free Code section since someone over at iDevGames' forum was asking about how to access the information that Apple System Profiler gives you at the API level.

23 Jan 2007
Added a link to my development log. Also, the work section of the website has been updated (now with more links).

21 Jan 2007
dead.licious has been updated to 1.2 which should fix (fingers crossed here) most of the problems people have had with it getting stuck on certain websites. Also, it should work a lot better for those of you who have Ma.gnolia accounts.
